Google Pagerank Update June 2011

I am pretty sure most of you already checked your latest PR, right? Some have up and some have down but whatever it is, do keep blogging, never give up, :D. This Google pagerank update June 2011 thing give such a huge impact for me as three of my personal blog get PR.

Last evening, hubby called me and said SBC get PR2. He got so excited that i got punched on the nose, ouch! Than he said 'let's check yours' and I become nervous all of the sudden and said very humble to him ' so impossible for that blog to have a PR' but then there it was, PR2, hehe.

After checking some PR for our friends blog, we checked the blog about tokek, not bad of getting PR1 as I never do any blogwalking for that blog. Hubby checked his personal blog, it's still PR3, so I let my hubby finishing his work while I messaging Jane @ Sumandak Kinabalu to tell her that her blog also get PR2.

An hour later, hubby come to me and said 'do you want to know another good news?' Well, of course I do, so he said 'come here if you want to know' (hubby doing his work in another room). Turned out that my brand new blog 'Baju Kurung Budak' also get PR2. It was so unbelievable as that blog is so new, not even reaching 2 months.
Baju Kurung Budak
One more happy news is SBC in BM version also known as PBS also get PR1,even the latest update for that blog is March 2011, hehehe. So five good news for me for this June pagerank update.
SBC in Malay Version
Anyway, congratulation to everyone who get PR for this updates. I know most of the regular commentators here have managed to get PR, :D.  Once again, a big congratulation to all of you.

I want Bugatti Veyron

Last Wednesday we was on our way to Malacca since my hubby had some work there. It was a boring journey since that wasn't the first time we went there. The hot weather also made me sleepy. Hmmm, you must be wondering now what is the connection with this post and Bugatti Veyron right?

Well, right before reaching Malacca, there was a siren and followed by some policemen with their bike asking the other cars including us to give a way. While we were busy wondering to whom  they were escorting, there was a luxurious car in white  and light blue colours passed through us.

Then my hubby was like 'that was the Sultan Johor's car! So sad we didn't take picture of it'. Then  I was like 'What is the big deal about it?' hahahaha but I only answered it on my mind though. Hubby kept mumbling about had not taken picture and I just ignored it. In fact I know nothing about that car. That is why I  don't know why it is such a big loss for not taking picture of it. Poor of me, so naive about car, hehe.

Friday, we was on our way home, when suddenly we heard the siren again. This time hubby asked me to get ready to take picture and said 'take the picture if I said so'. So I just grabbed my phone and get ready, hehe. Here is the picture! Sorry if this picture is not in a good  angle, that was the only  angle I have, hehe.
Hubby asked me to make a post about it, so while searching info for that car, I feel so lucky for having the chance to see that luxurious and the most expensive car in the world as well as the fastest one with my own eyes. Hubby! I want Bugatti Veyron!!! :D

Some details about Bugatti Veyron that you need to know:

1. The Veyron is powered by a compact 8.0-litre, 16-cylinder, W formation (basically two 4.0-litre V8s sharing a common crank), engine developing an astonishing 1001PS and 1250Nm of torque.

2. The 16.4 refers to the 16 cylinders and 4 turbos that the Veyron’s mighty engine boasts. Combined consumption is expected to be around 18mpg - but few will ever match that.

3. That powerplant is expected to enable the Veyron 16.4 to breach 400kph - or around 250mph - 10 mph more than the official record set by the Koenigsegg CCR at the Nardo track in Italy recently.

4. All that power is distributed through a four-wheel-drive transmission featuring a sequential paddle-shift, seven-speed, double clutch, DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) that pre-selects the next gear allowing for instantaneous shifting. A similar gearbox can be seen on the new Golf GTI and other cars in the Volkswagen group, that today owns Bugatti, Lamborghini and Bentley, as well as more down-to-earth marques like Skoda and Seat.

5. Braking is taken care of by carbon disc brakes and supplemented by the rear wing that doubles as an airbrake at speeds above 200kph. In addition the Veyron 16.4 has a separate calliper for its handbrake which features ABS – it can be used to stop the car safely in the event of a main brake failure.

6. Bugatti claims that the Veyron 16.4 can stop from 250mph to standstill in ‘considerably less than 10 seconds’.

7. The first cars are expected to be delivered to customers in the second half of 2005 - somewhat later than its anticipated 2003 debut.

8. Performance figures have yet to be verified, but the Veyron 16.4 is expected to reach 62mph (100kph) in three seconds, and 186mph (300kph) in less than fourteen. The Ford GT, which is one of the fastest accelerating current road cars, does 0-60 in around 3.6 seconds.

9. Michelin has had to produce unique tyres to handle the Veyron 16.4’s unique performance. They feature the PAX run-flat system and can driven on flat for around 125 miles at up to 50mph. The rear tyres at 14.4-inches (540mm) in width are the widest fitted to a production car.

10. With only 300 planned for production and priced around $1,000,000 the Bugatti is an expensive and exclusive toy. Despite that huge list price the Veyron 16.4 is never likely to recoup its massive development costs.

Blog as a personal diary

I've always wondering when reading some blog that tell about their personal story. I  didn't mind when they told about moving out, about their experience on getting pregnant or how they put their make up. That are something that I think are worth to share because we can get some information from it. But I do mind when they make their blog as a personal diary and told all of the details of their lives including their romance life, the bad side of their family and complaining about their life problem in their blog.

Come on people, just how stupid you are to realize that the whole world can read your  blog? I think that kind of story is a big NO in a blog. If  you want to make your blog as a diary, restrict your blog. How come you let your diary been read by the whole world? If  you don't know how to restrict your blog, just go to your blogger dashboard settings. Click the word 'permissions' and when you find the setting for the  blog reader, change it to 'only people I choose' or ''only blog authors', unless  you are hungry for a cheap publicity.

Family is the most important one in our life and we  have no right to talk bad about them even if it is true. It's our role to hide their bad side  from the others. Revealing their bad manner is the  same as revealing your stupidity and immature attitude.

What about sharing your feeling when you have been dumped by your loved one? is  it acceptable for you? Some love to do that. Even put the details about their feeling on the blog. I really don't know what kind of people who do that but for sure, they are the kind who love to get sympathy from the whole world and are hunger for a cheap attention.

Some love to share their life problems and keep complaining and moaning about  it. Worse, they  keep blaming other for their problem without the intention of looking and analyzing their self. What is the point to keep on blaming other on your blog? Does it mean that you  are so perfect and never do any mistake?

Auww, I think I'm going too far already, sorry for the harsh word but I hate people who make their blog as a diary and put it as a 'U' rated. For me, these kind  of people is so cheap and annoying. A diary is a diary and it's never meant to be read by others.
Peace!!!

Free Lamborghini-Contest by DLSL 2011

Anyone want a free Lamborghini Murciélago? Yes..., a car, a yellow sport car. If you still don't know, let me add a little bit of information from Wikipedia about the car in here:

"The Lamborghini Murciélago (/ˈmɜrsɪərlɑːɡoʊ/) is a two-door, two-seat sports car produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini between 2002 and 2010. Successor to the Diablo and flagship of the automaker's lineup, the Murciélago was introduced as a coupé in 2001 as a 2002 model. The automaker's first new design in eleven years, the car was also the brand's first new model under the ownership of German parent company Audi. It was styled by Peruvian-born Belgian Luc Donckerwolke, Lamborghini's head of design from 1998 to 2005"

Happy Engagement Day

Today is 1st June, yeah, everybody know that. Do you still remember my old post about my sister entitled Can you find me a lover? Well, guess what everyone, she already get engaged with her boyfriend, Fadzel on the 30th May. I was so excited to make this entry and hoping that my siblings will upload the pictures of the event  as soon as possible but turn out that I had to wait for a few days for it (sigh). I wasn't there to celebrate but doesn't mean I do not care, right?
The couple and my aunt
A week before the event, my mother called and asked about my opinion. Thinking that both the parents have met before so I suggested to make that event in a 'kampung' way, not in a formal way like mine hehe. I actually never saw a real 'kampung' style engagement. When I said it to mom, I imagined they sit and eat together on the floor, seem very unique and very friendly atmosphere to me.
I was happy to see that some of my idea had been used by my mom. The ceremony went well even tough there's a funny story behind it. But, I really cannot share it here for the sake of both families. Anyway, I was glad to hear that all my cousin who cannot come on my big day, were all there.
Fadzel's families

Final decision

Berian (to be given to my sister) : RM1000
Belanja hangus (Total of money to be used for the wedding day) : RM8000 and a cow
Sogit  : A goat

As both are Dusun, so the ceremony also held in a very Dusun way. In a traditional Dusun engagement ceremony, the head of village and the appointee are the most important people . Both parties of the families will be represented by the head of village. At this time the girl proposed to be the fiancée must be in the bedroom or in an other place not to be seen by the male's family. The man's will not be allowed in the girl's living room before the ceremony ends.

The most important in this engagement are berian/mas kahwin, belanja dapur (wang hangus or kitchen expenses), hantaran tunang or dowry, sogit and  the duration of engagement. Berian or or dowry is obligatory as the symbol of the value of the girl's personality and based on the tradition worth RM1,000. The period to perform a marriage ceremony is actually up to both of the family to determine, but usually it takes one year.

Sound very complicated to me, mine is very simple one, hehehe (^.^)v. Anyway, Happy Engagement Day to my sister, Beth @ Farah and her fiancé, Fadzel. May Allah bless you too. I am so sorry I cannot come home, but I will surely be there for your big day, (^.^).
