SMK Telaga Pitas

I never told you about my workplace before, but since I already moved to other place, I decided  to make a special post about it. SMK Telaga Pitas, that was the name of my working place, which is take almost two  hours  to reach from Kota Marudu, and four hours from Kota Kinabalu, is  really a very big and beautiful school. The student is not even reaching 400. The are only 44 staff including the big boss. Despite being the biggest and beautiful school in Pitas District, the staff and student are living without clean water and electricity. At least we have a genset and our own smelly water..huhu.
Our own smelly water
I still remember two years ago, come the rainy season, we cannot go to our workplace by car. We have to go there by boat, and to walk on a muddy road bare foot. Than, we become more clever and  bought a rubber boot, hehe. The road now is much better as we still can access it by car even on a rainy season.
Stuck in the muddy road.
Our green lorry lost control, went direct to the ditch.
Lots of staff want to be in our workplace because of the rural  allowance. Our workplace is categorized as rural two which make us qualify to get RM1,000.00 as a rural allowance. But, once you get there, its harder for you to get out. Female staff is very just 1/3 of the staff, other women are not brave enough to work there, hehe. Guess they do not like adventure, (^.^).

Even in that condition, we still success in handling sports at district level. The  only problem is, the staff from the other school are not willing to stay longer in our school because of the electricity and water problem, and also, its hard to get a phone line there, hehe. Tell you a secret, the better place to get a line there is by putting your phone by the window.

The Farewell Party

"Cause I'm leaving on the jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go"

A day before I left my workplace, my friend, Kak Lina cooked for my farewell party. I never asked for it, and once I know it, I want to pay her half of the price but she didn't want to accept it. It was just a simple party but the 'doa selamat' means a lot to me. Thanks Kak Lina for everything you've done to me.
Our big boss cannot come on that day, she was in Kudat, to support our student who qualified for the sports at district level. Only our second boss was there and he looked so shocked knowing that I will leaving them. Ahh, boss, no one will help you doing the e-Hadir and e-tadbir anymore, hehe. But I will surely miss your tokek, haha.

Okay, back to the party, well, you can see on the pictures that food was simple but, because of Kak Lina (one of the greatest cooker that I ever know)  who cooked it, it taste delicious and not only me saying that, the other colleagues also saying the same thing.
The last day I was there, Ajamain, the chairman of the Staff's Club made another farewell party for me, there was no picture of it, because he just asked us to eat anything that we like in the  school's cafe, hehe. Seem like I ended my day there with fully loaded stomach.

I am gonna miss them a lot. After three years I've been there, I know most of them very well, some have become my best friends, but I love my hubby more. So, wherever he is, I'm going to follow. Starting a new life in a new place is hard but living without my loved one is even harder.

JPJ Test

Hello everyone, (^.^). Finally I got my driving license, I only got 18 marks for my JPJ's test, but it's more than enough, hehe. To pass the test, you have to get at least 16/20.  To anyone who don't have any idea of what I am talking about, check these posts Malaysia Driving Lesson Process and Bad driving habit of Sabahan . I actually have been scheduled to finish this test on March but I was super busy for the preparation of my wedding, so I postpone it. Beside, it was harder for me to come there every Friday at 2.00 p.m from my workplace.

So, two weeks after get married, I renew my schedule, luckily for me, because  I have a friend there. So the reschedule became easier. At first, my test would me on May, but then, she manage to get enough hours for me to have the test on 24th April. I have 10 hours left, hehe.

I only took six hours before I postpone it and that six hours means nothing to me for I took it once a week. So to those who want to take a driving lesson, learn from me, don't take it once a week especially  if you have  never driving before. Its better if you take the lesson everyday.

The test started at 8.00 a.m and I am number 3, hahaha. Imagine how nervous I am. Hubby told me I cannot moved to his place if I didn't get my license, uhuk uhuk. I really want to take some pictures but failed, due  to my nervousness hehe. I am not worry about driving on the road, I am more worried about the test inside the driving school.  It is because, even if you fail to get it right even for one step, that's mean you're fail.
Anyway, I am glad I finally pass it, but to drive in Kuala Lumpur? ermm, even in Port Klang, make me scare enough, (^.^)

The Wedding Story, again?

No, I am not getting married for the second time. I just want to share about my best friend's wedding, hehe. Her wedding day was on 17th April 2011, but due to my busyness, I can only make this post after sometime, hehe.
Just call her Rynnie, she is one of my best friend since high school. She also came to my big day, so no matter how busy I am, I still and must go to her big day, even for a while. The interesting things are we were sharing the same photographer and band boy (my uncle's band). The truth is she was interested to hired the photographer after seeing my wedding pictures.(To those who add me on facebook and cannot see my wedding picture, please inbox me if you want to see it, because I made it private (only certain people can see it).
They also have to dance their traditional dancing called Sumazau, but I envy them for being able to wear the dusun traditional costume. That costume is way too sexy for me, hehehe.
By now, she already moved to German with her husband. Hopefully she will live happily ever after after all that she had been through. I know she will miss her family very much but that is the price that we have to pay to buy our own happiness I guess.

Right now, I am waiting patiently for an invitation from my other best friend (you know who you are, hehe). Please tell me earlier because I'm not in Sabah anymore...huhu.
