Sleeping Beauty Mode

Hi everyone! I am back...uhuk uhuk...Thank you for all the wishes everyone, I am very happy to read all of your comments, but do forgive me for my silence. I am pretty sure that some of you have been wondering why I didn't update my blog.

No.. I am not busy at all and I am still in Kota Marudu, Sabah while my husband is somewhere in Peninsular, hehe. Look at my post title, yup, I am in a lazy mode, I keep on fall asleep night and day, haha. I am telling the truth okay?...
Me wearing the Dusun Lotud costume

I searched on the internet about my problem and that's where I found out about Narcolepsy. It's a disorder that causes people to have a difficulty to stay awake during the day. It's become more interesting when one of the possible causes of narcolepsy is hormonal change, hohoho.

I got the same response from hubby and my best friend, Jane a.k.a Sumandak Kinabalu which is to have a pregnancy's only been a month and 6 days, how come that fast? hahaha but do not worry, I will have the test tomorrow morning after my driving lesson.

Got so many things to share but please forgive my eyes for fully controlling myself, uhuk uhuk.Til then, take care everyone, (^.^).

The Wedding Story ~ Last Part

This is the last part of my wedding story, hehe. Hope you won't get bored reading it. This post will tell you what happen on my big day (13th March 2011, Sunday).

Even the level of the water in our area back to normal, but the area which the imam lives was still in flood. It was almost 8.00 a.m, so I called hubby and asked them to not come so early (they were supposed to arrived at 10). My mom who went out as early as 4.00a.m to take the meat that she had ordered back with an empty hand. There wasn't any meat on the menu because of the flood last night. Only six kind of food? Oh well, I guess it more than enough..uhuk uhuk.
The funny thing is, one of my aunt came early in the morning just to make sure whether the wedding ceremony will be continue as had been planned or not, haha.
The Akad Nikah (Marriage Contract) ceremony went well. Akad Nikah is a ceremony where the groom sign the marriage contract and agrees to provide the bride with a 'mas khawin'. It  is a symbol to show that the men is willing and are prepared to build a family with the lady he chose to get married to. The contract signing is done before a religious official.
After the 'Bersanding Ceremony' (where the bride and bridegroom sitting together on the bridal couch also known as pelamin) we attend a celebratory feast called the 'Makan Beradab' (formal meal). The scary moment was where we were asked to dance 'Pinakang Dance' a traditional Dusun Kimaragang dance. Uhuk-uhuk, I really don't know that dance.
After that dance, the cake cutting ceremony took place followed by singing session by certain lucky people (special request from me) haha. That include my dad and my friends (Hamidah, Jessika and Bani). They were also asked to dance the Pokiring dance by one of my aunt who know them.
My friends performed the Pokiring dance
With one of my best friend, Rynnie.
My lovely siblings, thanks for the hard work (^.^)

The singing and dance session finished at 11.00 p.m, phew, so tired but I am so happy because everything went well as planned.

The Wedding Story Part 2

12th March 2011, Saturday. One more day before my big day. It has been raining for almost a week at my district. My parents went out early in the morning to buy the last things on the list. They arrived late in the evening and told me that flood had occur in some area. In the same time, my sister and her boyfriend went out to buy henna but they went home empty handed because all of the store had closed. Luckily for me because my aunt had a henna tree so she blended some of the leaves.
Around 7.00 p.m, my brother told us that the imam who was supposed to come for the 'Malam Berinai Ceremony' (where yellowish oil, extracted from henna leaves is applied on the fingertips) cannot come because he got stuck in the road. So the ceremony had been canceled and after my brother has done the 'Doa Tolak Bala' from his hotel room (he also cannot come home), my aunt put the blended henna  leaves on my left fingertips. Left it for an hour before I washed it.
My little sister, Manja @ Bellnita looked at me and asked 'how can you be so calm in this situation?. She was worried with the flood of course. I just laughed. How can I beat God's will? Flood and rain wasn't something that we can control. I can only make a little prayer, hoping that everything will went well for tomorrow.

Luckily, my house is free from the flood but my sister from Tawau, get stuck in Kota Belud and only arrived home at 1.00 a.m. I called hubby and told him about the situation (Kota Kinabalu also free from flood). I wasn't worry about the flood in Kota Marudu as I know, come in the morning, the flood will gone. I was worry about the flood  in Kota Belud, because if it still in flood in the morning, my hubby won't be able to come to Kota Marudu then.
I woke up at 5.00 a.m in the morning and the first thing that I checked is the level of the water at my nearest area. Its back to normal, and I was really happy to see that, (^.^).

The Wedding Story Part 1

Hello everyone! *Sigh*. A very long holiday for me, hehe. No! I am not forgetting or giving up my blog. The fact is I will be active in this blogging thing sooner. I am sure some of you know what took me so long to update my blog. Yes, I am a married woman now and today, I want to share some story about my wedding to all of you.

I start got busy a week before the big day.So many things have to be done and so little energy to make it right. I was lucky enough to have some relatives who get involved in this wedding business because when I don't like their dress, they helped me find the most suitable dress with my white and pink wedding theme. In the end, I got two wedding gowns and a simple 'pelamin' (the place where the newly wed will sit, in my case,  it only took 10minutes because we only sit there for peoples to take picture). It cost me only RM350. But, come my big day, I only wear  one of those gown for the cake cutting ceremony..haha.
After the cake cutting ceremony, I only wear a casual pink 'baju kurung' while my hubby wear his white 'baju selangor'. That pink baju kurung was actually for the 'malam berinai' ceremony but sadly, those ceremony had been canceled for some reason. The white dress for my 'Akad Nikah' ceremony was bought by hubby. He took some wedding gown pictures and MMS me. I fall in love with that white dress the moment I saw the picture and what important is the colour is matching the theme.
Next post I will tell you what make me worry the night before my big day and why the 'Malam Berinai' ceremony had been canceled.
