The Tagged and I

A few days ago, I registered to one of the well known social network called Tagged. You must be wondering now what is the connection between the Tagged and I, right? Actually, there isn't any connection hehe, I just want to test just how easy I can get friends from there.

The picture above is my profile on Tagged and you can see there just how honest the info that I give. I even mention my real age and status, but the result is so amazingly surprising. In just one day, almost 200 peoples viewing my profile and almost 100 have added me as their friend, and from all of them, only one woman, the rest are men, hahaha.

I also got almost 100 messages in just one day, all had been asking how to contact me, my email or my phone number. Some even said 'the not so nice' words but I just ignored it all. Some keep pushing me to chat or reply their messages (like I have time for that).

Some are brave enough to leave comment on my wall. I am sure you all know that everyone can see the comments on my wall, unlike the messages which is more private.

I can imagine just what you have been wondering now, hehe. You must be thinking what's with all that, right? Actually, I just want to show you how easy I can get friends from social network. That's what I get from telling my real status and age. Just imagine what will I get if I put the fake info and picture like my previous post ' Noorazlina Abdul Aziz '.

Just put much younger age and sexy and pretty picture and I can imagine how easy and how many men will fall to her trap, right? and oh, did I mention that I didn't add anyone yet? They are the one who added me first, hehehe.

Noorazlina Abdul Aziz

Noorazlina Abdul Aziz, well, personally, I don't have any connection with that name and I don't even know whether that name is her real name or not. What I really know is she's a cheater and always use that name in social networks to search for victims.
She's not using her real picture tough, the picture above is her latest picture and I really don't have any idea who's the real owner of the picture. Her main target are men who like to flirt around, men who admit to be single, divorced or in a complicated relationship, sex maniac or men who are crazily looking for a virgin and naive girl (which they might think would be an easy target to get).

I really don't have any idea about this matter until a few days ago when hubby told me about his friend's problem. Cannot believe that this kind of cheating is still exist. I mean, you have never meet her and yet you still willing to give her money. But I guess it's the same case as the scam email we got everyday saying that we won a total of money, the greedy one will fall for it, even nowadays.

While hubby been trying to help his friend, he found out a blog that told the story about that girl @ name. Turn out that she's been doing this kind of thing since 2006. So, I took sometime to read and understand it. From what I read, this girl will always tell you that her parents live in Kuala Lumpur while she's studying in Sabah. In our friend's case, she claimed that she's a UMS (Universiti Malaysia Sabah) student.

She will seduce you with her sweet and nice words, with her cute, pretty and sexy picture. Then she'll tell you that she has problem, for example; her car broke down and she didn't have enough money to repair it. She will ask if she can borrow money from you with a promise that she will pay it back when she get back to Kuala Lumpur (where she will asked to meet you at the airport).

As a man who already fall into her trap, thinking that your beautiful, sweet and naive girlfriend need help, you will certainly bank in the amount of money that she asked for. Come the day that you're supposed to meet her, she will never show up, worse, you can never reach her on the social network or phone after that.

She might tell you that she's really in love with you and cannot wait to see you. That she's ready to meet you but unfortunately she don't have enough money to buy a flight ticket. She will then ask if you can pay for her first or pay half of the price.

She might even tell you that she love your place (your town or state) and she would like to visit there if she has the chance to but she's afraid because she don't know anyone there and also, she don't know where to stay. As a man who think that this girl is naive, you will offer your place to stay.  Thinking that you can sleep with her make you do exactly what she want you to do.

This woman sure know what she's doing and she really know how to gain trust of men. She will use different kind of way depending on what kind of man you are. If you're a sex maniac or crazy for a virgin girl, she will use the last way. No sex maniac will refuse a sweet girl who don't know where to stay, right?

Our friend lost RM1000.00 to this woman, so men out there, beware with those all beautiful ladies  you know from the social network, especially if you never meet her and her name is Noorazlina Abdul Aziz. Who know you could be her next victim after this, hehehe.

Modified Glucose Tolerance Test (MGTT)

Modified Glucose Tolerance Test @ MGTT? What is that? Well, to those who don't know, that is a 'must' test to pregnant women since last year. It is necessary in order to know how your body will responds when given a sugar drink. This test used to be only for those who have a high potential of having diabetes or women with diabetes history in the family.

But, with our lifestyle and our eating habit right now, there's a high possibility that even people with no diabetes background also can have it especially for pregnant women who sometime cannot control the way they eat.

Every pregnant women will have this test twice during pregnancy. How do I know? I already had the first test and will have to face it again next week, uhuk-uhuk. But don't worry as this test is not as painful as the Anti Tetanus Injection.

First of all, you will be asked to fasting starting 10.00 p.m the night before your MGTT. Fasting here means you cannot eat and drink for 10 hours starting at 10.00 p.m to 8.00 a.m.

At 8.00 a.m. on the day of your MGTT, the nurse will take your blood. After that, you will have to drink a glass of glucose solution or in Malay, air gula. You will have to wait about two hours before the nurse take your blood sample again. You can eat and drink after that, hehe, but in my case, I have to see the doctor first, to know the result. Fortunately for me, the result is normal.

How about you? got the normal result too? What do you feel drinking the glucose solution? Me? Felt itchy in my throat for almost five minutes and then it fade away, haha.

20 Weeks Pregnant

When you are 20 weeks pregnant, you can feel a lot of different now. Your morning sickness is completely gone, but for me, I still have the bloating problem, already asked the nurse but she said it must be something that I eat that caused it. What is it, I for sure don't have any idea.
Photo: Credit to Google

I can feel the foetus movement almost everyday now and it's somehow annoying especially if you want to get some rest or want to take a nap. As far as I concern, the foetus only make a movement when we are not busy. The funny thing is I can see the foetus heartbeat just by looking at my tummy  hehe.

My tummy is quite visible now, even my hubby will laugh at it. Some of my good friends keep asking me to take a picture of me with the tummy. They said I must be look pretty with that big tummy, haha. I will certainly try to take a picture later, not only because my friends asked me too, but also for my keep.

I also happen to have a difficulty to sleep. Sometime, I cannot sleep all night long and will only sleep at daylight. Somehow, it disturb my work schedule but fortunately my hubby  seem to understand my situation. What's funny is some of the problem that I have, he will also face it, like cannot sit down for too long or sleepy all the time, hehe.

My brother who already have two children, asked me whether I already know the gender of the baby but I don't know why I am not interested to know about it. What's important for me is everything will be okay, never mind the gender, am I right?

The chef in the family

Do you still remember Atan, my youngest brother? He is 9 years old, now. If you are my regular readers, perhaps you still remember some posts I wrote about him including WW : Who need this, I want muscle too and Wordless Wednesday : Youngest siblings
Atan, the chef

I've been away from them almost half a year now and it surprised me to know that he now cook his own meal. The first time I heard he cooked is a few months ago. My mom told me that he cook the canned fish (Sardine)  mix with sausage. It was delicious said my mom.

When he have his own phone, I always messaging him or called him just to ask if he already eat or not. When he said 'yes' I will automatically asked 'what did he eat and who cook it' as there's nobody at home except him and my grandmother who is very afraid to use the modern cooking method.

Hearing he cooked his own fried mi or fried rice, is like a joke to me, so I asked him how he do it. To my surprise, he could explain very well how he do it and I can't help but wonder why suddenly he is interested in cooking. Maybe he want to be the chef in the family, hehe.

If you have been wondering, well since he was at the kindergarten, we already teach him how to cook simple meal like fried egg, just in case he get hungry and want to eat something. We were so worried to heard that he always eat instant food like maggi, that is of course bad for his growth.

His first attempt in frying the egg was fail because he forgot to put some oil first, and it was funny to heard how he forced our granny to eat that failed fired egg and of course my granny don't want to eat it, hahaha.

I asked him what recipe he want to learn when I get back to Sabah at the end of this year and it surprise me more when he said 'steak', hahahaha. Never thought he will give that as an answer, I only thought that he want to learn simple recipe.

I really want to see how he cook, and you can imagine me asking him to show his cooking skill and me ready with the camera, later, hehe.

Pregnancy mumbling : Emotion

I like doing this pregnancy mumbling topic because I can write anything without have to refer or doing research. This is just a mumbling, from what I experienced and I see around me, and it's all about pregnancy, hehehe.
Photo : Credit to Google

For today, I would like to mumbling about emotion while pregnant. As we know, pregnant woman tend to be a little emotion while pregnant. From my Facebook alone, I could see that some of my pregnant friend  keep complaining their hubby, even for a small thing. When her hubby came back late from work, she's also getting angry.

Some might feel like she cannot be too far away for so long from her hubby, and you will see that most of her status in Facebook is about missing her husband, the funny part is she's even get jealous when her hubby keep adding new friends in Facebook especially women.

My mom used to say that everything that we felt while pregnant will influenced the baby. For example, when you suddenly hate your husband during your pregnancy, your baby also will not have a good relation with the husband, later. It's better to fight the feeling, she said.

Fortunately for me, I don't have to face any bad emotion changing for this time. Instead, I love being pampered by hubby and I adore him. What weird is, I suddenly like to see coins (hubby is a coins and banknotes collector). I can see how well this baby and my hubby will get along later.

19 weeks pregnant

At 19 weeks pregnant, there's nothing a big different while I am at 18 weeks pregnant, I don't even know whether my tummy became bigger or not because it still look the same to me, hehe. The only thing that matter is my appetite seem to have up and down. Sometime I feel like I want to non-stop eating and some other time I feel like I don't want to eat anything at all.

That is why there's so much food in my refrigerator right now, especially fruits like apple and some local fruits that easily to get. I even stock up some raisins, soy milk, vitagen and chocolates. Nuts is also a must, as well as fried anchovies. Why fried anchovies? well, as far as I concern, this anchovies is a source of Iron, which is important for the blood.
You might think that I always eat all the time, but the truth is, some of the food shown on the above picture are stocked up more than a month and still I am not able to finished it, hehe. The appetite is big but my ability to eat is small.

The best thing is, I don't have to eat heavy food when I feel hungry all the time, just grab some fried anchovies or chocolates. Sometimes I eat what we call 'asam boi' (I don't know how to call it in English, sorry). But I tried my best to avoid it because I remember when I took the 'Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering' subject while took my degree, my lecture said it is bad for our genetic as it can cause mutation and who am I to question a professor, hehe.

Oh, I almost forgot, some of you might already feel a small movement in your tummy at this weeks of pregnancy, like me. It happened few days ago, a day after a visit to the shop of my hubby's friend. Read Mini perfumes if you don't know what I mean. I was so tired that day, so I sleep almost 12 hours including daylight, so come the night, I cannot sleep at all until 4.00 am. That's where I felt like something pushing my tummy from inside. It happen several times and don't happen again until now. Hubby said probably the baby is angry because I still awake, hehe.

Mini perfumes

Last week, I accompanied my husband to meet his fellow coins blogger. While they were busy with the coins, banknotes and blog, I sat and surfing the net without nothing in mind. Imagine I had to sit almost 6 hours, huhuhu. But, I felt happy when his friend gave me mini perfumes or in standard name is perfume miniatures along with a bag since his wife is a perfumes salesgirl. Those perfumes are Prada Pour Homme (for men), Incanto Bloom by Salvatore Ferragamo and L'eau D'issey Pour Homme by Issey Miyaki.
The smell is very nice and of course it will help me a lot when I want to buy a new perfumes later. Means I don't have to test so many perfumes as I already have a few sample and I can choose the best smell from it. My hubby's friend even promises to give me another sample for our next visit, hehehe.

To those who don't know how perfume miniatures look are, take a glance at this picture, :D. That's why I called it mini perfumes because they are small @ mini. But the smell is still the same tough, don't worry. This kind of perfumes is suitable to bring along when you are traveling since it is lighter, small, not fragile and you can bring 10 kind of it and it is still lighter than a bottle of perfume.
See how small the perfumes are? The left one is for sure not a new release perfume, it is an AA size battery just for a comparison, hehe. The size maybe almost the same but the battery is heavier than all of three of the mini perfumes.

Vitamin B Complex in pregnancy

B Complex is one of the vitamin that I have to take once a day, every morning. The other vitamins that I take doesn't cause me any trouble, but this one...I really cannot stand the smell. Even I already ate it, I felt like the smell is still around until almost noon.
This causes me to lost my appetite in the morning, but after that, I will keep getting hungry until midnight. That's scared me, haha. I don't want to gain too much weight, because it will also can affect me and the baby. Back to the B Complex thing, it always be the last one that I take everyday. Sometime, I really want to escape taking it, but thinking about the importance of Vitamin B Complex in pregnancy, I ignore the feeling.

B Complex actually is a combination of all kind of Vitamin B including Thiamin (B1), Riboflavin (B2), Niacin (B3), Pantothenic acid (B5),  Pyridoxine (B6), Biotin (B7), Folic acid (B9) and Cobalamin (B12). So, how can I ignore this one? hehehe.

Not taking this vitamin will causes me much health trouble such as anemia, muscle cramps, respiratory infections, birth defects, abdominal pain, diabetes and depression. Aw, I'd rather dealing with the strong unpleasant smell than all these kind of health problem, hehe.

If you don't like medicine, you can also get all of these vitamin from food. For example, you can get B1 from cereals, grains, potatoes, seafood, liver and kidney beans. You can get B2 from enriched bread, green leafy vegetables and dairy products. B3 can be found in chicken, fish, whole grains, nut and lean red meat. B5 in almost all foods, B6 in bananas, potatoes, fish and chicken. You can get B7 from egg yolks, mushrooms, watermelon, liver and peanuts, B9 in peas, nuts, citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables while B12 can be found in milk, eggs and milk.

So, like it or not, I will still take this vitamin and of course with the doctor's advice. If she say that I still have to take it, I will. They know better what's best for us, right?

18 weeks pregnant

I am 18 weeks pregnant now and there's a big difference I felt especially about my appetite, nausea problem and my tummy. My stamina also seem to be less right now, I cannot walk too much or even sit still for half an  hours also made my back in pain.

What is actually happen while at 18 weeks pregnant? Well, if this is your first child, then your tummy is started to show by now. As for me, I can no longer wearing most of my clothes and even if I can, it feels uncomfortable due to the size of my tummy. You will probably have to start wearing pregnancy dress by now.
My appetite also seem to be back to normal, or maybe I can say, a bit too much because  I am hungry almost all of the time. This is the time where you have to be careful and watch what you eat. Reduce the intake of sugar, rice and salt. Make sure you eat a lot of fruits and vegetables. The doctor will also ask you to continuously drink any brand of milk (with or without the 'Folic acid').

My nausea problem also seem to be gone and thanks god for that. My weight already back to normal and the last time I checked it, it's 60 kg. Means I have gain 1 kg after losing 2 kg before, you can read more about it in my old post about Hari Raya.

Walking or sitting even for half an hour will make me tired so much and giving so much pain especially to my back. There's a time I tried to ignore it and it hurt so bad that I cannot stand it anymore, forcing me to lie down and crying on my bed, hehe. To be honest, I never thought that getting pregnant also can cause pain, as most people only talked about the pain they get through while giving birth.

The last important thing is you have to change your sleep habit by now. Lie down  on your side especially on your left side. This is to ensure the baby get enough oxygen. I love sleeping lie flat on my back but it is not encouraged as it will compress a major vein and of course it will decrease the blood return to my heart.

You might find these different from yours but don't worry, as you will experienced it sooner or later. Just take care of what you eat, don't drink alcohol  and smoking, hehe and if your husband is smoking, asked him to stop or don't smoke near you. I am so lucky tough because my hubby don't smoke and drink and so do I.

Milk for pregnant women : EnfaMama A+

The first milk for pregnant women that I drink was EnfaMama A+, a Mead Johnson's product. I choose the vanila flavour because I really like vanila and to be honest, I am not a fan of milk, hehe so if I want to drink it, its have to be with vanila or chocolate flavour. This milk is for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, so even if you are already had giving birth, you can still take this milk.
Through what I read from the label, this milk provides important nutrients like DHA which can be found in breast milk. It is also formulated with Iron which is important  to form red blood cells. Red blood cells is important because its carry oxygen to all parts of our body.

This milk is also enrich with Folic acid. As you know, Folic acid is very important to the baby so that the baby will has a proper growth and development. You can find out more about it on my previous post entitled Folic acid and pregnancy.

The other thing that is important to our pregnancy is Calcium and it is also something that you can get from this milk.  Calcium as we know is important to make our bones and teeth stronger. The best part is this milk is 82%  lower in fat compare to Full Cream Milk.

EnfaMama A+ is available in two flavours, Vanila and Chocolate. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try the chocolate flavour yet, hehe. How about you? What kind of milk that you take and what flavour?

About Facebook

Today, I am going to talk about one of the most used social network in this world, yes, I will talk about Facebook. As you know, I am one of the user. This kind of network is good because we can connect with everyone we want in this world, as long as they want to connect with us too, hehe.

The friends who waiting to be accepted
I joined Facebook in 2009, and I was really naive about it, especially about the security and privacy things. Due to my excitement to have lot of friends, I just add anyone without checking their profile. My Facebook wall and photos are also available to all eyes including those who wasn't in my friend list. Thanks to one of them (not in my friend list) who keep commenting on my status, it was really open my eyes. From there, I learn how to keep my privacy.

I now have about 3023 in my friend list and it never increase because I don't want to. I remove some inactive friends (who never commented on my status or seldom updating their wall) before I accepting new request. Before, I love to ignore and blocked friend request from other, but now, I just let it untouched. There's more than a hundred who waiting to be accepted now, but really, I don't want my friend list more than 3000.

If you see my Facebook wall, you can only see like this;

I viewed it as Jane Martin @ Sumandak Kinabalu
But, it is actually like this (and only me can see it).

Notice the difference?
Notice that you cannot see any picture in my wall except my profile picture? That is because I keep all my pictures private, including my profile picture. Even my hubby cannot see it, hehehe. My photo album also the same case. It exist and I keep lot of pictures, but only me can see it, and the people who I tagged, of course.
Most of my pictures is setting to 'My eyes' only mode
Even in log in too, I changed the setting. Any new computer which I used to log in, Facebook will send TAC number to my phone (same like Maybank2u) and I have to enter it to be able to log in to my Facebook account.

So, how yours? Do you keep it public or private? Or you don't even care about it? I really think we should care about our information and pictures, because we don't know what other will be able to do with it. We should really be careful especially with social network like this.

Kota Marudu always in my heart

It's already been almost five months since I left my lovely hometown, Kota Marudu, but feels like years to me, hehe. Living in a big city is not really my style and never dream about it. But, when God want it that way, then it will be. As long as there's someone beside me, I know I can survive here, hehehe (like I live in a desert).
What I love most about Kota Marudu? well of course one of the reason is the price for food and seafood there cheaper than here. No wonder, everytime hubby went back to Sabah, he will always looking for food or seafood (now I know why, hehehe).

There's a time when hubby brought 7 kg crabs in Kota Marudu. The price is cheaper than in his hometown (Kota Kinabalu). It's only RM7 per KG in my place. Very cheap, right? and I could get it cheapest  in my former workplace (only RM5 per KG), hahaha.

Fruits and vegetables also cheaper there. Even the salt fish also available in a big varieties. I once bought anchovies here, and it cost me RM17 per half KG, while in my place, RM17 is the price for 1 kg, uhuk uhuk. A vey big different there, and that's why Kota Marudu always in my heart.

Cannot wait to get back to Sabah this coming December, hehe. By then, I know I have to watch what I eat. Hopefully, 'jeruk bambangan' is available at that time, because there's no way I can find it in here, hehe. I know hubby love 'jeruk bambangan' too, but he already stay here more than 10 years, he's been get used to it, unlike me.

Pregnancy mumbling : Low placenta

Yesterday was my appointment to scan the baby. No, I don't know my baby's gender yet, it is only to determine how is my baby condition I think. To be honest, the moment I saw the baby's head, I feel such a relieve. It's been almost 4 months already and my stomach / tummy / belly still didn't get any bigger than before. Couldn't feel any movement neither.
The only things that make me so sure I am pregnant and there's a baby in me are the fact that I missed my periods and the nausea and vomiting things. So, to see the head and there's a fetus's heart beat there, really make me feel something and I really couldn't explain the feeling.

After get the result, I took a look at the slip that they have given to me. I noticed about the placenta which is low and that is why I mumbling about low placenta. The nurse didn't explain anything to me and I don't have the heart to ask either since almost 10 people are already waiting in the room, beside the clinic is not really my place. Too bad the clinic that I used to go don't have scanner, that's why they sent me to this new clinic.

Late at night, I asked my husband to Google about low placenta. Seeing the word 'low' is scaring me so much I guess, hehe. But, hubby told me there's nothing to worry as it is normal to have a low placenta at the beginning of pregnancy. Normally, it will increase according to your weeks of pregnancy.

Well, you must be wondering why I worried so much about placenta. First of all, you have to know what placenta is. Placenta is an organ that connects the developing fetus to the uterine wall to allow nutrient uptake, waste elimination and gas exchange from your bloodstream.

Never thought about it before but now, I can see how important placenta is to my pregnancy.  Couldn't wait for my next appointment, I really have to ask the nurse more about it. To read all the information in the internet about low placenta (also known as placenta previa) is so scary. Better ask the right person, right?

Pregnancy mumbling about medicine

Well, I have fever right now and it's already been four days since I have it. It's not really a good feeling, to be honest, and you would ask why I didn't go to hospital or clinic to make thing easier. I have this bad habit which is I don't like to go to clinic or hospital. I don't know why and you can count just how many medical certificate (after this M.C) I have taken since I start work.
I think the only time I took M.C was when I get involved in an accident ( took 2 days M.C) , when I went to the dentist and while I had a high fever and I could smell something like rotten egg inside my nose (which according to the doctor, my nose had been infected by virus due to my carelessness to treat my fever, hehehe). The good thing is I still remember the doctor's advice until now which are to not take a bath with cold water, drink enough warm water and take care of what I eat.

Hubby sometime asked me to take an aspirin or in Malaysia, one of the well known medicine is Panadol. But, I really tried to avoid that kind of medicine since I don't know if it has affect to my pregnancy or not. So annoying right? I hate to go to the clinic and hospital and yet I don't want to eat a medicine and I have a  reason for that.

I am not gonna tell you why I don't like clinic or hospital, I will share a sad but true story about medicine instead. That is why I called this 'Pregnancy mumbling about medicine'. This happened to my cousin in the month of my big day ( March). She was only waiting and counting her day to deliver her baby that time. At the same time, she had a fever and took a medicine without any advice from doctor.

A day or two after that, she was worried when she cannot felt any movement from her baby, so she went to hospital to check it. The result made her cried out loud, yes, her baby was dead. Since it was her first child, they tried not to do any surgery and made the baby out in a normal way. Don't ask me how they do it, I was busy at that time and we couldn't even visited her until the funeral day.

I still remember when the baby finally out, it was the day before my wedding, come my wedding day, her mom who had just went back from Kota Kinabalu was willing to show her face for a minute and told my mom that they were sorry for not being able to attend my big day, and who could blame them for that?

So, as a reminder to those whom pregnant including me, don't take any medicine without asking for the  doctor's opinion or advice. They know better what's good to us and the baby. Some of the medicine is not suitable for the baby and of course could affect the baby.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2011

Hello everyone, finally the fasting month is almost over and Hari Raya is around the corner. For my Muslim readers, how is your fasting month? is it great? or is it the same as mine? If you don't know what I mean, you can always read my post about pregnancy and ramadhan

This ramadhan, I only managed to fasting for almost 12 days only. I know I am fasting like a kid but what can I do. I used to do the complementary ibadah which referred to the six days fast in the month of Syawal or would be easy to say it 'Puasa 6' in Malay, hehe.

This year, I don't know if I would be able to do the Puasa 6 again because I have so many fasting days that I missed and have to make out. I also have to add my weight as when I went to the clinic for the first time, my weight is 60.6 kg, and now it's already down to 59 kg (written in red).
For some, it can be a good news but for a pregnant woman, it wasn't!! That's why it's written in red, uhuk uhuk. Thanks but no thanks to my nausea and vomiting problem, now I have to eat as much as I can so I can gain weight again before my next appointment (will talk more about it in my next post).

Well, enough with the mumbling, let's direct to the point then. Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2011 to all my Muslim readers, please forgive me if I had said something bad or sensitive issue that can hurt your feeling. To my non - Muslim readers, enjoy your holiday friends, :). Do take care and drive carefully wherever you go.

Last week, hubby and I went out to buy for some maternity dresses. I know it's still too early to buy for it because I am only 13 weeks right now, still too small to wear the maternity dress haha, but hubby insisted me to do it, so why not.

To be honest, we have been looking in so many places for the maternity dresses and couldn't find any, when we finally found one, the price is 'oh my God'. It is RM179 per dress and I bought two, huhu. The dresses are fine and is comfortable to wear but is all the maternity dress is expensive like that?
The salesgirl said that the dresses is the latest pregnancy fashion but how should I know if it is true or not as never in my life before I'm buying any of that dress?
Couldn't imagine my mom bought dresses like that..huhuhu, any of you have any idea of where to find some fine yet cheaper maternity dresses? Please, don't tell me that such cheaper maternity dresses are not exist, uhuk uhuk..I think RM179 is too much...

The clinic

The first time I went to clinic to check my pregnancy, I didn't bring anything, hehe so when I want to register and the nurse asked for our married certificate, we were surprised. Fortunately for us that our house isn't so far from the clinic, so hubby went home to take it.
After the  registration, the nurse asked me to fill up our information and asked me when was my last period, so I told her and she start to calculate. Short after, she looked at me and said ' you are only 5 weeks pregnant, still too early to check, do come again later' and she gave me the exact date when to come there again.

Hubby and I laughed out loud after leaving the clinic, even the nurse said ' it's normal to get excited as this is your first child'. In fact, my hubby had asked her cousin who worked as a nurse in a hospital and she told us to go to the clinic as soon as possible because if we don't, the nurse will get angry.

Come the date that the nurse said, we went to the clinic again as early as 7.30 a.m, hahaha and the clinic still not opened that time. We have to wait inside our car for almost half an hour before the door was opened. The first thing I have to do is answering a set of questions about my self and my family history and defining my weigh, then the nurse asked me to pee and go to the next room where the other nurse took my blood to check for HIV, type of blood and the concentration of my blood. (Will explain more about it later).

After that, I went to the next room where the other nurse checked my breast (checking for the sign of cancer), and she explained about the good of breastfeeding to our baby. She also taught me what kind of food that is good for blood and a little about folic acid. Then, she asked me to take the vitamin in the pharmacy counter and that's all, hehe.

Pregnancy gift

You know that I love pink colour right? but, that is not the reason I choose Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink as my pregnancy gift. In fact, I don't know why I choose that perfume, (as I am sure, most of you know that Elizabeth Arden offered lots of  perfumes) maybe because of the combination of the bottle and the colour (I like butterfly). But, I love the smell, nice and soft, hehehe.
At first, buying a perfume for me is not in the list. It's hubby who need one, but than I got jealous and want one for myself too, hehe, and when the salesgirl asked whether  it's a gift or not, that's when hubby said to me 'consider it as a pregnancy gift'.

I have to wait almost half an hour in the counter for the perfume to be pack neat and nicely, hahaha. Hubby said ' why you don't tell her no need to pack it like that?' and I said 'that is a  gift so it has to be packed nicely and pretty' hahaha. I think the price is around RM290, forgot already, hihihi. Oh, and they give me a silver bag and a lip gloss too for free.
Want to know  some about this perfume called Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink? well, that perfume is define as ethereal, magical and feminine.

1. Top notes - Sparkling
A sheer, flirty blend of Silican Bergamot and Ocean Breeze Accord is melded with breezy floral notes and accented with a hint of  Bellini Accord.

2. Mid notes - Feminine
Inviting and alluring, the soft essence of Pink Peony is captured in the delicate heart of the fragrance. Wrapped in its beauty, dewy Tiare Petals and Lily of the valley.

3. Base notes - Sensual
A rich blend of bright blond woods and creamy sandalwood create a unique combination of Sun-Kissed Woods. Wrapped in sultry White Musk, the base reveals sensual warmth and long lasting depth.

Anywhere, this pregnancy gift is unplanned, but I still want to thanks my hubby for the gift. This pregnancy is actually a gift for his birthday, as he once told me 'no need to buy me anything for my birthday, a baby is more than enough'.

I keep seeing things

I don't know why but last night, I think I keep seeing things and it's scared me very much. Right before I want to sleep, I keep seeing something that look like a black thing or a shadow in the corner of my eyes.

Just imagine how I felt that time...and my hands keep touching my stomach or should I called it 'baby'?, with a hope that nothing bad will happen.

In the morning, around 5.00 am, I was surprised to see there's something in the door that almost look like in the picture under (or should we call it portiere?) but it was more like a plant or something and of course was also in black.
Picture: credit to Google
I almost think that it was real and a bit excited, because it look so beautiful as the thing was not only in the door but almost surrounding the whole room, but then I was terrified when I remember that there wasn't any sign of it before I went to sleep.

Its scared me but in the same time, I was confuse, how on earth I could see such nonsense thing in this Holy month of Ramadan? Or was it only a dream? But, I am pretty sure I was awake at that time, huhuhuh.

Transgender and transsexual

Been read so many comments and story in the news about the transgender and transsexual and I know I don't have the right to make any comment on these matter as I am not an expert in religion, in fact I don't even know how to read in Jawi or Arab. I also don't have any siblings or relatives who facing this problem, but I do have some friends who facing with this problem. You can read my old post about them in my post entitled : Thank you to my best friend.
Let's start by the meaning of that two words. Transgender means appearing as, wishing to be considered as or having undergone surgery to become a member of the opposite sex while transsexual means one who wishes to be considered by society as a member of the opposite sex or one who has undergone a sex change.

Well, in my best friends case, they only appear as a woman in certain things like the way that they walk, talk or eating while in clothing, they still look like a man. You might think that they are 'lelaki lembut' and still able to marry a woman, but no. They don't have any heart or feeling towards woman and that is why I feel safe with them.

I still remember when Hamid @ Hamidah told me '' I know something inside me want to get out, but not getting married while I have the ability to is a big sin already, I don't want to add it with any stupid action like undergoing a sex change or take a hormone pill like my other friends. I don't want to lie to myself by getting married to stop the bad talking from the old folks while in fact, I don't have any feeling towards woman. I am willing to live like this until the end of my life but getting my sex change is a big no as I don't want my body and soul rejected (tidak diterima bumi) when I died.''

He also once told me ''no matter how beautiful we are and no matter how ugly women are  but nobody can change the fact that we still cannot get pregnant. That is why I never feel jealous when the boy that I like has girlfriend. But I do feel jealous when the boy choose another transgender like me''.

Just sharing what my friend said. I'm glad though that he still hold his religion tightly and not following his emotion only. May God bless  his life, :D

Pregnancy and ramadan

Ramadhan this year is for sure is not the best one in  my life. There's a big difference between Ramadhan last year and now and you will know what I mean if you are pregnant in an early stage during Ramadhan with all the nausea and vomiting problem.
Vomiting is something that I really cannot stand. Every time I vomit, feels like all of my energy has been taken away and of course I cannot fasting when vomiting become my good friend (and I'd been dreaming that I could fasting 30 days without fail, huhuhu).

There isn't any wrong with pregnancy and Ramadhan and you can still fasting even if you are pregnant. But for under 12 weeks or below 35 weeks, you have to asked your doctor if you are strong enough to fasting. The nurse said, I am fine and can fasting if not because  of the vomiting problem (sad again).

I hate vomiting but having read that vomiting is one of the sign that shows our pregnancy is strong and not in the risk of miscarriage, is somehow make me relieve. I don't know if it is true or not tough, hehehe. What do you think about it? Care to share some of your fasting experience while pregnant?

Last but not least, Happy Ramadhan everyone, hopefully this Ramadhan will bring joy to all of you.

Mom the gamer

Yeah, my mom the gamer! Hihihih, it's maybe hard to believe but my parents love to play games. It is only a simple pc game but seeing them playing it somehow make me smile. My dad also love to play pc game but he don't play the game like my mom do. My dad more to snooker game while my mom is more to the fun game like what shown on the picture below. I forgot the name of the game but it's something about turtle I guess.

They only play games on pc and don't dare to touch our laptops. This old pc is actually bought 10 years ago, while I was in UMS. Come my sisters turn, they didn't want this pc, they want their own lappy instead, hehehe, so this pc is only been keep in the house for almost 7 years. Nobody want to  use it.

One day, my youngest brother, Atan connected all the pc wires himself, and he was only 8 that time. I guess he learned it from his computer lesson. So, I installed some games there, games that simple and isn't hard to play.

The pc is placed in my parents room,  even if I didn't installed any games  there, I know they will asked for it later. The game as shown on picture above is my mom favourite. This is the only game that she played as it was easy and colourful.
My dad is addicted to the snooker games and there was a time when I called him for dinner and his answer was 'Wait until I can get a new record', haha.

I enjoyed teaching them how to play game or how to type a message on their mobile because they are not afraid to learn something new. Tell you one more secret, they only know how to turn on and off the computer, while the typing work, they gave it all to their children, hehe.

Folic acid and pregnancy

When I made the post being pregnant, a blogger named Lieya Latif commented about taking lots of folic acid and milk. Thus make me wonder what is the benefit  of  folic acid to pregnant woman and where can I get it?
Folic acid according to the book that I read, also called folate is a B vitamin (B9) which can be found mostly in leafy green vegetables like kale and spinach, orange juice and enriched grains.

Surfing the web about folic acid is somewhat interesting for me. Turn out that this acid is not only recommended for pregnant woman but also to those who want to get pregnant. This vitamin is needed to make a new cells in our body. Pregnant woman need lots of this vitamin to make sure that the baby is developing well.

Now you know a little about this vitamin, but where can you get this? Especially if you are not really into leafy green vegetables like me, hehehe. Well, you can always buy folic acid tablets from pharmacies. As for me, I get it from the milk that I drink twice a day and also from my multivitamin.

As soon as we know that I am pregnant, hubby bought me the Enfamama A+ milk and Anmum Materna. I am not a fan of milk, so you can imagine how hard for me to drink the milk, but I accidently saw the words 'Acid folic'  on the milk can on one sweet evening and that is where I take the milk seriously now, not skipping it anymore, hehehe. Will talk about it in my next post. See you later, :).
